	wait a minute, this sounds screwy.

	I secured NJBA's insurance policy several years ago through
	the advertised carrier.  AFAIK that policy is still in force
	(Bruce, do you know about this anymore?) and we are covered for
	events to which we travel.  Last I knew, we were supposed to 
	obtain a certificate that explicitly covers a given event at
	a given venue.  They know that we hold open forges and other
	"sponsored" events where there are people working and I never
	heard any objection by them to any of this.  Perhaps things
	have changed.  Maybe you can talk to Bruce Freeman about this
	as he took over the insurance issues after I did the initial
	acquisition.  Perhaps he can shed some light on this.

	The option is never gone to initiate a suit.  Depending on how
	the waiver reads, the court may or may not throw the action
	out on its face.
