The worse part is we are the raw meat feeding the lions. At a NY comp
hearing they all talk in acronyms that leave you having no idea what is
going on and when you try to get your lawyer to explain (If it was your
lawyer who showed up for you) you find out that you have to go back again.
You own lawyer doesn't want to let you know what is happening as the more
he goes to hearings the more he gets out of your allowed settlement.
The system was a nice concept but the lawyers who are in politics have bent
and pared the rules for the WC attorneys so it is now a cash machine for
the law firms and a trickle for the injured. The scammers are the ones who
get the money because the and their lawyers know how to play the game and
the people who actually get hurt working seem to get s**t

(Because of carpal tunnel my left hand types random letters and needs to be
watched to make sure it doesn't misbehave, but I hear that G Bush feels
that this couldn't possibly be a work related injury and wants to end
people being able to claim the disability)
>the legal system is all a game one big game played by the lawyers,
