Both my daughter and her roommate at college each have a Fuji Finepix 
1650. The LCD view finder on both cameras went bad. I sent my daughter's 
camera back to Fuji USA four weeks ago and they still haven't fixed it. 
When I call customer service I usually have a twenty minute wait on hold 
before I get to talk with anyone. Her roommate  had her camera repaired 
by an independent camera repair shop and had it back in two days.

I would never buy a Fuji camera again.

I just bought a Casio QV-R40 for $287 at Sams. It is a 4 mega pixel 
camera and smaller than a pack of cigarettes . It takes a great picture 
and best of all uses two AA rechargeable or standard batteries. The 
special batteries used in a lot of the new  digital cameras can run $40 
-$50  each.
