There is less choice in the UK, but not necessarily a lot less desirable 
goods. After all, many of the choices we have are shoddy or overpriced 
merchandise, which doesn't belong in the marketplace at all. Perhaps shopping, at least 
in England itself, is more discouraging than truly hampered. While doing 
research on propane regulators last year, I found only one good deal (Jay Hayes) in 
the US There was also only one good deal found in England. The number of 
choices here is vast, but the bottom line for careful shoppers may not be so one 
sided as it first appears.
