Some years ago, there was a BABA member who was doing a lot of bronze
forging.  He did say that it had been some bother to find an alloy that
was suitable but once he hit on the right stuff, he was doing fairly
elaborate pieces.  Maybe you could ask around at BABA.

For my part, I had a hard time (in Nova Scotia) finding apiece of
naval bronze to make a part for my air hammer.  Halifax is a port, a
ship building city and the main center of commerce east of Montreal.
