Mikey, Bruce is a putterer. I think he's more a putterer than a smith- he
has an interesting habit of asking questions such as, "Why does it work this
way? Why can't it work that way?" and then answering them. If you want to
see what I mean, look into the Grasshopper treadle hammer, and the
Weightless Hammer. His ideas are always interesting- maybe not paractical
for some applications, but definitely never boring ;-)
