I remember eastern point road at lunch time which was about 8pm , I 
worked swing.
The whistle would blow and the gate opens and hundreds of EB workers 
running across the street to any of a dozen bars about 50 foot from the 
gate. Bar tops were full of pitchers filled with beer.There had to be 
Hundreds of them. Every glass and vessel was full of beer and waiting.

I was raised in Hartford and lived in the projects, 'till I escaped to 
the ARMY. Race riots and
"KILL WHITEY!" was the thing .I have two sisters in Newington.  I have 
nothing against the Constitution state  just a few lousy memorys.
