Mata,

In my observation there's a wide variety of folks on this list and sometimes
someone forgets to take their "I may not know everything, maybe I should
approach this with a sense of humility" medication, or "this would be better
addressed off list" vitamin.  And as a result (worse than Mr. Troszaks
concern about sticking one's foot in one's mouth) they often put their foot
in some orifice that's even harder to remove said foot from, because of the
force applied it putting it there.  I often recognize those folk(s) and at a
glance can judge and delete before I can even tell where that foot's heading
or what medication they may have missed :)  And sometimes I unsubscribe for
a few years while I go bang iron, head, etc... but overall enjoy theforge.

This thread really makes me want to unsubscribe to this list.

We are supposed to be a resource for metalworkers.  I make the time each
morning to scan through the digest list, because I know it is valuable and I
have learned an incredible amount from many of you.

Having to sift though so much X@#$%^ really takes the fun out of something I
love.
