We have a 67 ford F250 gets used to feed cows and misc. ranch work, hasn't
been on the highway or liscenced for years. Its on it third engine .
we used to have snow here in the winter and wet distributors were common.
Past 5-6 years we haven't had enough snow to make your feet wet.

So, Randy ... what vintage car do you drive which doesn't have a solid state
electronic ignition. I haven't experienced a wet distributor since the 70's
;-)

Yes water displacer, if your car distributor is wet spray it w/ WD40, you'll
be on your way again.
