[TheForge] 'The Hunted' observation...

One of the guys at work rented the movie and was telling me all about it
yesterday. Said I should rent it, I might learn something. I invited him
over (again) to see what it's really like.

Hollywood smithin. <sigh> How many movies have you seen the "smith" using a
set hammer upside down? How many has the "smith" taken a knife off the
anvil, dipped it in water and used it, heck why not it already had a handle
and a high polish. <sigh>

About the best portrayal of smithing was in "Highlander II". Started out
with a Japanese bladesmith working a billet in a proper japanese forge,
charcoal, box bellows, etc.
