This notice provides you with important information about the
characteristics of emails containing the Sobig virus, which is the
fastest email outbreak ever. Please read and understand what these
infected emails look like and DO NOT open the attachment under any
circumstances. Delete them immediately.

Characteristics of Emails Containing Sobig Virus 
--Senders may be from people you know: If someone you know is infected
with Sobig, then the virus will send virus emails with the person's
email address in the "From" field, unbeknownst to the person. Thus, pay
particular attention to all email subject lines and attachment names
despite the sender.

--Subject lines: The subject line typically says "Re: Details,"
"Resume" or "Thank you" 

--Attachment names: Attachment names may include your_document.pif,
details.pif, your_details.pif, thank_you.pif, movie0045.pif,
document_Fall.pif, application.pif, and document_9446.pif 
--Senders may also appear to be from familiar email domains: Infected
emails may come from recognized domain names such as ibm.com, zdnet.com,
or microsoft.com
