Typically, copper pots are tinned inside.  It is conceivable that
oil-seasoning, like for cast iron, would suffice, but I wouldn't want to
bet my health on it.

Copper is poisonous.  Fortunately, trace copper is not poisonous, but
that won't help you if you get more than a trace.

I don't see the advantage in making an iron frying pan or, for that
matter, any kind of iron cook pot.  <snip>
