hello;
this is a high pressure propane gas system and it
will need to be welded or brazed piping.
strongly suggest you get the nfpa lpg handbook,
nfpa-54, and nfpa-58.
for high pressure propane gas, copper pipe may be used.
it has to be the type l or acr copper pipe.
please refer to the below urls for more information.

http://piping.copper.org
being able to use non-tinned copper pipe depends on the
amount of hydrogen sulfide in the propane. you need to
ask your propane service company for this information.
you may need to use tinned lined copper pipe if the
hydrogen sulfide level to greater than 0.03% or unknown.
truthfully, your propane service company is not doing
their job if they do not request an inspection of the
new piping system and sign off that it meets their standards.
their liability insurance company should be demanding this
of them. if an accident occurs and there are any people
killed the propane service company may be on the hook if
they knowly delivered propane to a home or business which
had fuel gas piping and/or appliances that did not meet
local code or the nfpa-58, nfpa-54, or the nfpa lpg handbook.
you really do not want to get in a pissing contest with
an insurance company, whether it is your home/shop insurance
company or your propane services company's insurance company,
over an accident and/or fire.
i strongly suggestion you err on the side of extreme caution.
the life you save may be your own or a family members'.
