Probably more like

for a brass one at $667 (locking type, lever handle rather than egg 
nob).  But even at $1,000 it's pricey.  Someone ought to contact these 
folk, it'd be a good job.  Even if one doesn't want to build the lockworks 
from scratch, there are plenty of old locks around that could probably be 
well fit to a project like this.
