ive seen 1 video of banding a wheel so I'm no expert but they had the band
to size used a fire pit to get a even head got it up to somewhere around 400
F dropped it over the wood wheel hitting it with a wood mallet then quickly
cooling with water so it does not burn the wood . no grease was used
