I have a book titled MAKING WHEELS by R.A. Dennis.
He shows how to make a bender to make variety of wheels, its man powered and
not too complex. Kinda like pressing your iron into a channel iron w/ an
adjustable kiss block so you make a bunch of bends all the same, and wind up
w/ a circle.
I've been using this same method to make curved railings in a hydralic press
which is just a wood splitter that has the wedge replaced w/ my tooling.
I wasn't too impressed w/ the book, was hoping for something about building
buggy wheels from wood and iron. Instead these are wheels for garden carts
etc. some accept bicycle and auto rubber tires.
