I don't know what kind of finish you need, but what I do is rub them down
with olive oil and throw them in the oven when the kids are cooking pizza.
Makes a nice patina and keeps the rust off. But then I cook with cast iron,
so I'm not a high-polish-on-the-cookware kind of guy...
