any markings on this pipe are long gone. this pipe is at least 30 years
old and a uniform old type copper penny color. i have looked at several
web sites concerning copper patinas and most not an option. the pipe is
vertical roughly 7.5 ft exposed between floor and ceiling. it is 4 inch
copper dwv pipe.

i am familar with deft lacquer. i was not aware that it would provide a
waterproof coating on copper. thank you for that information.
