goose grease, it's not just for breakfast anymore. Also works as a hacksaw lube and a tap lube. You can put it on your shoes and dance a jig too :) Well if you can dance.:( Which I can't

That's the same recipe that I use for lube with .58cal Minnie balls in my
Springfield musket. Works great. Sometimes I use petroleum jelly instead
of the Crisco, less carbon fouling.
