 Ventilate well. Heat copper, press hot
copper onto block of sal ammoniac, touch
cleaned copper to solder, retouch block.
You now have a tinned copper.

This does nothing for a BADLY burned
copper. for this you use a file or
sanding disk. When the copper starts to
look pitted it is time to redress the
copper's face. 

Do not leave sal ammoniac in contact or
in close proximity to anything that you
which to keep uncorroded. Keep the sal
ammoniac block dry.
