if it is "hand forged" it's probably from china/india/etc. on the other hand when was the last time you talked to a "customer service" person that didn't have their head up their ass? their confirmation that it was indeed "hand forged" came from looking it up in the catalog. you just took a walk around the block.

or else dave brown made it. i hear he will work cheap.
