If you can email me with the number on the vacuum tube, I can tell you a
solid state replacement. Or if there's other information, we can back
figure and do the same. That's part of what we do here at work<G>.
Work on obsolete gear.

Subject: [TheForge] Re: computer power pack
Y'all got me curious so I just stripped an obsolete computer tape drive
(circa 1985 model) so that the nice case has just the power supply. I
can get 12v that will run the tape drive motor but it doesn't deliver
enough current to run a 12v car horn. Maybe handy for electrolytic
derusting or something?
Drifting even further off topic, I'm moved into my new shop but not set
up. Trying to get things organized, rooting through stuff I haven't
seen for years I came on a battery charger someone gave me in the 60s.
Big old transformer, huge screw-base vacuum tube (for a rectifier?),
alleged to deliver up to 6 amps and has a patch panel on the front to
select how many batteries you're charging (from 1 to 12). Yow! I've
never plugged this thing in. Gotta replace the wires that have crumbly
fabric insulation and see what it will do.
