Hey All-while looking around at the flea markets in my new residence I
spied a set of machines, maybe 4 in all, for making brooms.  The
machines are cast iron and wood and seem to be all there and restorable
into usable condition.  One is a vise, one has a means to pierce the
corn to stitch it together, and another is a shear for trimming the ends
of the corn.  If anyone is interested I will go back and get more of a
description.  The price tag is $ 1,500 but that is probably negotiable.
