Not talking about state laws, I'm talking about Federal law.
Under Federal law, an individual can brew or vint 200 gallons for personal
use per year- a household, with two or more adults, 400 gallons. Regardless
of the state laws, anyone who distills alcohol is subject to Federal
penalties. Essentially, States can make more constrictive laws, but not more
liberal ones.
