Ouch, what prices!
You can however still find some great deals. I picked up a 1/8 inch letter
stamp set, full alphabet plus period in perfect condition for $30 US. Sorry
I had to gloat a bit.
As for the grinding stone, sounds like you got a nice deal. I have never
seen one that wide across the face. For man powered use I have seen a lot
of smaller wheels set up with a foot pedal drive, perhaps something like
that could be worked for this one? I saw one mounted on frame with a
bicycle seat, pedals and chain drive.
