I heard back from the guy, looks like he screwed up the description based on some of the other dimentions he gives me now. The striking surface is 17.5 x 4 which would make its length (scaling by the picture) 26" NOT 36".  He also says it is marked 160 lbs (could be cwt?).  Anyways no way am I going to drive 10 hours to get it after that misrepresentation for $330.  I don't think he was trying to rip anybody off, just careless and ignorant of anvils.  Anybody want it for that $330?  Has to be picked up. he won't ship.

Otherwise I'll offer him $200 or to help him properly relist it on eBay.
