According to my Peck, Stow and Wilcox catalog, which is a reprint of a 1900
catalog, what you have is no. 2 combined snip and pipe crimper.
"The blade is pointed and readily inserted in the metal at the point desired
to begin cutting. They are adapted to cutting off the bottoms of pails,
cans, etc. and suitable for cutting round or square work. The crimping
attachment is designed for crimping any kind of sheet metal pipe, round or
square." They cost 3 dollars in 1900.
Dont know how long they continued making them, but a good bet is that your
pair is from the 20's or older.
