[TheForge] Forge explosion

I was at a demonstration where they were using a rivit forge. It had
about a 2" diameter down pipe with a cover. Went off like a shotgun,
big one<G>.

The way that I learned it, was to give the coal a blow until you think
that it's cooked enough. Then, stop blowing for about 30 seconds.
Start blowing again. Upon reapplication of blowing air, if the fire
gives a small whump or flare up, then the coal fire is immature and
needs more tending<G>. If it just starts up without fanfare, then
likely it's mature enough for it to stay home alone<G>. I usually wait
2 minutes after a try like that and try again just to make certain<G>.
