[TheForge] Cold Galvanizing Paints

Does anyone have any experience, or even know anyone with experience, with 
cold galvanizing paint?

I know it's supposed to be applied to bare metal, but should it be covered 
with another primer before finish coating, or is it basically a zinc 
enriched primer paint?

Anyone with experience as to how it holds up protecting outside metal objects?

Is it worth using on steel in lieu of simply a good primer paint?

Other than steel, where else would one use this?
