I assumed you were talking about the polish for removing minor/micro 
scratches.   It looks to have an abrasive made up of finely ground 
plastic material.   It is greenish/blue in color.  I have used it on old 
glasses that were clean, but had a lot of very fine scratches from being 
layed down on the lens too often.   It worked well for them.   The local 
walmart used to have someone demonstrating it in the entry way about 
every weekend.    There is a guy here locally that makes and sells  hand 
cleaner from ground up plastic.  It looks a lot like the eyeglass 
cleaner, but much more coarse.
