I translated it as follows:

I used the lens (polishing compound) for my (eye) glasses, that I bought 
from Walmart.   (it) worked good on the marks (on my whiteboard) that 
were a few months old.

The lens polishing compound is very mildy abrasive, with some sort of 
mild solvent, so it would be a pretty good option.
