Yeah you got it about right, about 11 feet or many, many mm
Its for the entrance to my showroom, wanted something to wow people, never
made so many leaves before!
On that cnc table, optical isolator is just a chip that turns an electrical
signal into a light signal so I dont get any spikes or feed back to the
computer from the plasma, finally installed it when I ran out of pins to
swap to on my printer port, kept zapping  pins and having to swap
connections to other pins on the port till they were all zapped, now Ive had
to put a printer port card in the computer so I can use the cnc again. I
love this traditional smithing of the new milenium.....
