I have to go along with Dan. I have had a Shop Outfitters bender for
something like 6 years and only just recently mounted it when I have a bunch
of repetitive bends to make. The "machine" that I would really value would
be a good old fashioned tire roller. You know, the ones used to roll the
iron bands for wagon wheels. Shop Outfitter's ring roller is too wimpy in my
estimation, especially for the $700 they ask for it. I am seriously looking
at buying a ring roller from Australia!!! I found a nice heavy duty unit
that is fairly affordable including shipping!!!

Have you tried the Moscow Carriage Company? They sell tire roller, I've
included the web page and description from their site. How does this price
compare to the Ausie price? If the Ausies are cheaper, where do the rest of
us buy them!!!!

The basic tire roller will roll tires up to 1/2" by 4" flat without too much
effort. If you want to be able to roll rings for hubs, i.e.. diameters down
to 4", then order the add-on ring rollers. If you will be rolling stock
heavier than 1/2" by 4", I recommend you order your roller with a gear
reduction and jack shaft. Basic roller, $800. Ring rollers, $50. Gear
reduction and jack shaft, $100.
