Same subject came up about a year or two ago, so might be findable in the =
archives.

My suggestion was clear glass =AF apply it to hot metal like a flux.

    I have never before done anything that  could be condsidered "jewelry",=

and am therefore totally lost on what type of finish should be put onto a
ring I made for my wife out of hot rolled steel.
