Larry,

I think your right, if it was a shot, time will tell.  As far as the
fragment or hole, I've not found one and I don't think I will.  If it was a
shot, I think the 2-3 inch slot would indicate a severe angle and if so, the
bullet would have ricocheted.

I still cannot believe it was any kind of road debris.  If it was, the
object would have to be coming up at a very steep angle because of the
distance between the trucks.  At that angle, I don't believe any stone
thrown from a tire could hit the window, yet alone break it.  Remember, the
trucks were going in opposite directions - thus reducing the potential
impact speed.  In addition, the slot cut in the window was horizontal
indicating a wide, heavy object .... or something small traveling very fast.
