Phlip, you are too kind. Sounds like a long way to go for dinner though. Thanks
much!
I'll put a few of the pix up on my web page (such as it is):
http://www.frii.com/~sos
I'm not posting the fully detailed ones, but you can only tell the difference if
you really blow them up. If someone would like more detail on some of them, let
me know and I will be happy to put the full version up. The pics you want are
numbers 108-159 (there are some missing numbers). The files with an X in the
name (like 108gsx.jpg) are much shrunk versions, so you can take a look at them
before downloading the larger version.
Netscape (and probably other browsers) KNOWS that your screen is 72 pixels per
inch; the pics are something like 1500 pixels each way. This makes the image
tremendously blown up in Netscape. The way around this is to right click on the
image and select "save to disk". Once they are on your disk, double click on the
file name and a more intelligent viewer should pop up. Note that if you save
from the image itself, you end up downloading twice. If you right click on the
file name (as displayed on my web page), you can save to disk in one step.
224 and 227 are pics from a tool making workshop we had last weekend. I got to
use an air hammer with a 300 pound head (shown in 227--that's not me). The
dinosaurs were for an image processing example for someone on a digital camera
list.
It's fine with me if you mail them, Phlip.
