[TheForge] Klez Virus

yes and it does not leave a 'send' trail on one's maching.
I happened to pick it up.
it disabled both zone alarm and black ice, norton refused to run
properly..
then it replicated itself IN my windowns/temp file... application
files with
numbers for names.. attached itself to eudora, icq, outlook
express and all my media
programs.
what clued me in.. was not only were my firewall/antivirus stuff
acting screwy..
but I started to get bounce back messages that said  "mail to
[email protected] was undeliverable" I had NOT mailed anything ot
such an adddress.
I prompty took myself to the good priests at the Norton website
they scanned for stuff
(a freebee) told me what sort of demon that I had aquired and
sent me a program to
exorcise the beast...
have to reboot into safe mode...but it worked...
