Me too, my wife has never uttered a word of negativity about a tool,
ever.  FACT, today I said, " I need a plasma cutter", her response
was, " buy one... what is it?"  Tools are not wasted money to her,
she's seen the money we've saved by "buying the tool", other times.
Course, I've never come home with some dandy new tool when a previous
financial obligation would have made it imprudent.
