        Shannell,  If your trying to up the pressure to feed the volume you
need........basicly you need more volume, not more pressure.   Your original
question was what was the working limits of most air system
designs........that is normally 150 psi.
        If your beating your compressor to death turning it colors to make
your air hammer run........you need a larger compressor(volume), not more
pressure.  I'd add a second compressor to the two tank system, or get a
large single compressor to suit the needs.  If you can make 25 CFM at 100
psi. you should be all set.  I'm afraid I don't know what the metric terms
for that are.
