Bruce,

I often see sledge hammer heads in the fleamarket section of Steam shows.
Usually, it is just the head, for a couple of bucks. Often the head will
need some dressing.  I look for the guy who is selling a pile of rusty
"stuff" spread out on a blue tarp on the ground.  Usually has an assortment
of hammer heads, including sledge hammers.  Once in a while you get lucky
and see a straight or cross peen sledge hammer head.

By "STEAM SHOW", I mean those gathering of people showing off old time farm
equipment, one-lung gas engines, steam powered traction engines, etc.
