Thanks for the straight beeswax tip Dave, maybe that's why the Yelling oil
worked so well as there is beeswax in it too. Will try and remember the
three tooth rule as well.

This works well, and so does straight beeswax on the blade. Another thing
that may be a consideration is tooth contact with the metal. If at all
possible use a blade fine enough to keep three teeth in contact with the
cutting surface at all times. If necessary, angle the blade a bit. Less
than three teeth in contact will result in the teeth catching on the edge
and jamming. This 3-teeth thing is a 'rule of thumb' but is a good one to
keep in mind when cutting sheet metal with a blade.
