Bubba, you can use a $200 Taiwanese etc. horizontal/vertical bandsaw with a
fine blade and then finish up with a belt sander (or any other vertical band
saw for that matter).  You can also use a Beverly Shear and used small size
can be purchased for around $200.  I bought a like new one from a used
equip. dealer for $450 and it is the biggest they made.  The small ones work
great also and take up less space.  On the other hand, a fellow smith I know
has cut hundreds of them with a hand tin snips, but the metal is relatively
thin (appliance sheet metal).  He doesn't use a hacksaw at all.  There is my
2 cents worth.
