Paul, it did you plenty of good.
You get to join the thousands of other demonstration attendees who's
grandfathers were also blacksmiths.

Of course, you know your obligated to tell the demonstrator your grandfather
was a REAL blacksmith,
(and/or to ask the demonstrator if he's making a horseshoe, even if it looks
like a pair of tongs).
