[TheForge] Benders

Bill,

I have both the Hossfeld and DiArco. The Hossfeld is in my opinion a more
versatile machine. It is easier to set up and has a larger capacity. The
dies are also cheaper and there is a broader selection.

The Diarco on the other hand has its good points too. It is geared more for
making precise bends in lighter material with a higher degree of
repeatability. The dies are of a higher quality and the arm can swing bends
over 360 degrees.

For bending mid sized quantities of small parts the Diarco is the winner.
The Hossfeld is better for small quantities of parts in a wider array of
material.

If I were to start over, I would go for the new hydraulic bender from D
squared. Their dies are cheaper than Hossfeld and works of art.

Hope this helps.
