[TheForge] DXF FILES

You are experiencing the challenges we all face in this domain, EVEN
using the expensive AutoCAD. AutoCAD LT has the capability to generate
the dxfs, but some lasers can read them some can't. I have a friend who
is a graphic designer and works in some wizbang graphics packages and
they can save out files as pretty much anything you want. Perhaps if you
were to enlist the aid of a graphic designer to computerize the images
you desire to cut out.

I have been considering the dive into graphics applications to help
better represent my ideas to clients and then for those that require
laser or water jet cutting the transfer to dxf should be seemless.

My two cents.
