I thought some here might get a kick out of this poem my wife wrote for me
last Valentines day, she doesnt know much about smithing but I think she did
pretty well, cept she made me sound better than I think I am :)

My Husband the Blacksmith

Out of the fire, the steel is red hot,

Absolute precision, my man knows the lot.

Each swing of his hammer makes a resounding blow,

How he creates such beautiful work, Ill never know.

He bends the steel around the anvils horn,

A leaf, a flower or lizard is born.

The hiss and steam as the red steel is quenched,

With long tongs he brings the work to the bench.

Amidst piercing blue light he makes a weld,

The forged iron pieces are perfectly held.

Chipping away the spatter and bits,

With rainbow colours - a masterpiece sits.

Thats why I love him so much,

He really has the Masters touch!
