You may want to call Sid SuSuedmeier at (402)873-6603 If there is anything
to be known about LG's, he's the guy. He likes nothing better than to get
in a conversation about them.
As for you problem I can only compare to how my LG (early model) is set
up. The upper and lower dies have centering pins in them to help hold them
in place. There is no 'support' plate under the die, the bottom of the die
sits on the LG cast body. My LG also uses only one wedge to hold it in place.
It sounds like your die is a replacement die that is not properly sized for
your LG. Call Sid, he can tell you for sure.
