You're giving the impression, that by contrast, SCA are a bunch of drunken
bums, which we aren't. We are adults, and we do do adult things, like drink
alcoholic beverages, at some events, but we equally have dry events. Excessive
intoxication or underage drinking can be dealt with quite severely, ranging
from removal from the site, to banishment from future events, to legal action.
We are responsible adults and expected to behave like responsible adults, and
we usually have quite a few activities available specificly designed for
children. We also may have some, like the metalworking symposium, which are for
adults only.
