no doubt you can get it from centaur or norm. personally i didn't think it was worth $25-$30 unless you are interested in all the history of the mayer bros and their foundry.

as far as re building a hammer it has some good info but the same info has been printed numerous times in the anvils ring and others. lg hammers are pretty simple machines.
