To take all this back to where it started, just what is a 25# little giant
worth? The one at the auction was PO'ed at $1,500. The man said he wanted
$1,800 and everybody there said he was crazy, that similar hammers sell in
that area for less than a thousand. He was from Kentucky, the auction was in
Indiana. I passed one up here in Texas priced at $1,500 that had been
completely rebuilt, with a new babbit and all new bearings. I think maybe I
should have picked it up.
